Surcafes is an association of coffee growers of the southern part of Tolima, Colombia. The association is located in the “cañón de las hermosas”, a national park known for its beauty, and sadly, by the guerrilla warfare in previous years. The association was created in September of 2017 with the goal of harvesting the best Colombian coffee. It is made up of 117 associates, where 43 of them are organic. The coffee bought by the association comes from veredas around Chaparral, Tolima. The crops are between 1,500 and 2,100 meters, where many varieties can be found. The members take courses that ensure their knowledge and techniques are progressing, where they now have a laboratory and expert analyst that allows us to separate and select the correct coffee for every client we have, providing them with their exact needs.
